AFFENPINSCHER BREED NOTES - 29th February 2008 Breed specialist Jane Waterfield judged North Wales Toy Dog Society’s Open Show on Sunday 17th February. Jane had an entry of 13 dogs, including 2 puppies and had just one absentee from junior. BOB went to Carol Carlyle’s homebred Induna Little Tommy Tucker (Ch Ingerdorm Pickpocket x Induna Anna). Tommy was awarded Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex in Show at the Affenpinscher Club’s Open Show the previous week. BPIB went to Yvonne and Ronnie Billows’ homebred Robil Alina Kojocaru (Wildax Denzel Washington at Robil x Ingerdorm Inciewincie at Robil). Alina won BP at her first show - LKA in December under Mhairi Brown. Carol won a nice big box of chocolates as part of her BOB prize – we hope you enjoyed them, Carol, as you didn’t share them with the rest of us! For those of you who have not visited www.dogjudo.co.uk it is well worth a look. I first discovered Rexley the Affenpinscher and his friend and judo partner, Roy, when I got Matthew, nearly 6 years ago and this site keeps improving. Rexley reminds me of Matthew. There is a new video every month and a new blog every Monday. There were even Christmas cards for sale of Rexley wearing his judo outfit and a party hat but they sold out! Please let me know about your wins at open shows. Sophie Todhunter |
