Our Dogs 12th September 2008

It was a seventh CC and another BOB win for Jeni Wiggins’ Ch Kilbarchan’s Xtra Copy for Scapafield JW Sh. CM (Ch Carmichan Jazzy Jet JW x Ch Kilbarchan’s Final Copy) bred by Helen Moffat. Judge Terry Nethercott had an entry of 51 dogs making 52 entries with 6 absentees – all from the bitch classes. The BCC was a second for Suzanne Pirrie’s Mimosa of Riogaioch (Furstin Future Perfect at Tarcalion x Orlock Oltenia with Riogaioch) bred by Suzanne and Mhairi Brown. The RDCC was a second for Mhairi Brown and Andrew Oliver’s homebred Orlock Marius (Orlock Count Yorga x Orlock Countess Dracula) and the RBCC went to the breed record holder– Karen Edwards’homebred Ch Roxilyn Just for Jo JW (Ch Scapafield Schwartz Jet x Avantgarde Madam Moonshine).  It was another BP win for Faye Currie’s Avantgarde Airbourne Lad bred by Delia Shepherd and Stuart Cordon (Ch Kilbarchan’s Master Copy JW x Avantgarde Naughty Mariette).Well done to Jeni, Suzanne, Mhairi, Karen and Faye.

Sue Smith (Sueacres) judged North Wales Toy Dog Society’s Open Show on August 31st and had an entry of 8 dogs with one absentee. BOB went to Carol Carlyle’s homebred Induna Little Tommy Tucker (Ingerdorm Pick Pocket x Induna Anna) and RBOB went to Jenny Todhunter’s homebred Pennington Periwinkle (Ch Darkle Dashing Blade to Pennington x Delores Notation of Pennington). BP went to Joyce Warrington’s homebred Bolmacs Elizabeth Would (Pennington Prince Michael x Bolmacs Laybi Lil) handled by Alan.

Darlington is our next Champ Show without CCs and Terry Burgess has an entry of 21.

The September edition of the Kennel Gazette announced another judge for 2009.  Annette Oliver-Wyles will judge Scottish KC in May. Annette judged the Affenpinscher Club Champ show in 2006.
