Our Dogs 11th July 2008

Tom Mather judged Windsor and had an entry of 56 dogs making 59 entries with 10 absentees -2 from the dog classes and 8 from the bitch classes, 4 of those from puppy bitch. He awarded BOB to the DCC winner – Barry Wiggins’ and Karen Edwards’ Roxilyn Just Joey with Scapafield JW bred by Karen (Ch Scapafield Schwarz Jet x Ch Avantgarde Madam Moonshine). This was a third CC for Just Joey who won his second, and also went BOB, at UK Toy under Ann Arch earlier this year. Congratulations to Barry and Karen on making up a new champion. The BCC went to Suzanne Pirrie’s homebred Ch Riogaioch Illusion JW (Ch Cransbere Kindamagic at Bodebi x Ch Riogaioch Festival).  This was Illusion’s 12th CC. The RBCC was a second for the post graduate winner – Alison and Nick Barnsby’s Winterkloud Alula Borealis for Beaudiddley  (Furstin Gamesmaster to Winterkloud x Cransbere Tyegah Lillie of Winterkloud) bred by Sarah McGill. Alula’s first RCC was won at Southern Counties last month under Carole Mumby. The RDCC and BP, both first awards, went to Mhairi Brown and Andrew Oliver’s homebred Orlock Marius (Orlock Count Yorga x Orlock Countess Dracula). Well done to Suzanne, Alison and Nick and Mhairi and Andrew on your wins.

Barry Canty is now acting treasurer for the Affenpinscher Club, following Jane Horwood’s recent resignation.
