AFFENPINSCHER BREED NOTES - 9th April 2008

The results of the postal ballot for judges for the Club’s  2010 Open Show and the 2011 Ch. Show were announced at the AGM.  Breed specialist Chris Hayes came top in the Open Show vote with Anita Roberts in 2nd place.  Jackie Reader topped the poll for the Ch. Show with Ros Brakes as reserve.

Karen Edwards’ Ch. Roxilyn Just for Jo JW had qualified for the Contest of Champions but sadly Karen and ‘Hettie’ did not compete as Karen’s husband Ray died two days earlier.  Ray was seriously ill and had been in hospital for some time but was discharged quite recently and Karen had been caring for him at home.  Unfortunately his condition deteriorated so he was re-admitted to hospital where he died the following morning.  Our sympathy goes to Karen and the family at this time.
