AFFENPINSCHER BREED NOTES - 12th June 2008

Carole Mumby judged the breed at Southern Counties and had 45 Affenpinschers making 51 entries with 8 absentees. She awarded Best of Breed to the Dog CC winner, Josie Harvey and Julie McEvoy’s Kilbarchan’s Master Copy JW bred by Helen Moffat, sired by Ch. Carmichan Jazzy Jet JW ex Ch. Kilbarchan’s Final Copy. This was his first CC. The Bitch CC was a third for Sarah McGill’s Cransbere Tyegah Lillie of Winterkloud giving her her title subject to Kennel Club confirmation, of course. She was bred by Linda McGill and sired by Ch. Avantgarde Prince Rupert of Cransbere ex Cransbere Quest. Nick and Alison Barnsby’s Affenpinschers won both Res. CCs with the homebred dog Beaudiddley Lets Get Sirius and the bitch Winterkloud Alula Borealis for Beaudiddley. The dog is by Ch. Scapafield Schwarz Jet ex Furstin Upstart for Beaudiddley and the bitch bred by Sarah is a daughter of the Bitch CC winner by Furstin Games Master to Winterkloud. Best Puppy went to the bitch, Jessica Gruninger’s Darkle Mirrykin who is by Ch. Darkle Devil May Care ex Darkle Minnykin and just 8 months old.
