An Affenpinscher Workshop has been organised by the Club. This is open to anyone interested in finding out a little more about the breed. It will be held on Saturday 28th Novmeber 2009 (9.30am for 10am start) at St Leonard's Church Hall, Prospect Place Watlington, Oxon. OX49 5AJ. Tickets £15 including Lunch and refreshments. Further patellae scorings have been added to the results page (please contact me if your dog is still not listed) and also the Club Judging List has been updated.

The Club's judging list has been updated and more results have been added to the patellae (knees) scoring. The willingness to participate and put up all scores is fantastic and a real tribute to the well-known forward looking attitude of the members - many thanks to everyone who has participated so far. Please keep sending those scores!!

Many more patellae results have been received this week from the health co-ordinator for publication so are now all up. All result which have been received and permission for online publication granted have now live however there have been a few forms received where the owner has not indicated a preference for publication. If your result is not up yet then this might be the reason. Contact the health co-ordinator to correct this.

The results and critique for the 2009 Affenpinscher club Open show and the 2008 Championship show are now up.If anyone has photos of the major winners I could put up on site, can you please forward them to me! More Patellae results have been added. If you have sent patellae score results that you expected to be listed and have not yet been published then please let me know.

Since the 1st of May 2009 members wishing to use the online stud page or puppy list must provide copies of patellae certification for inclusion as per the Affenpinscher club recommendations for testing all breeding stock. Use of the Affenpinscher Club Puppy list held by the secretary will also require copies of patellae certification for parents prior to inclusion.
Further affens added to the patellae scored list and to the hip scored list. New dogs added to the list of stud dogs producing 8 litters or more.

A new photo on the index page is of the Top Affenpinscher 2008, Ch Kilbarchans Xtra Copy for Scapafield, bred by Helen Moffat and owned by Jeni Wiggins. His dam is Ch Kilbarchan’s Final Copy, owned and bred by Helen Moffat and she was runner-up Top Brood Bitch 2008, leading the Toy Group. His sire is Ch Carmichan Jazzy Jet JW, owned and bred by Carole Mumby who was Top Affenpinscher Stud 2008.
Four of their children took CCs last year. Aforementioned Ch Kilbarchan’s Xtra Copy for Scapafield JW Sh, Ch Kilbarchan’s Exclusive Copy for Carmichan JW ShCM, Ch Kilbarchan’s Master Copy and Kilbarchan’s Hot Copy.
